- n December 9, Mexico’s COFEPRIS, the regulatory authority under that country’s Ministry of Health, gave its approval to the world’s first dengue vaccine. Dengvaxia, the vaccine manufactured by the French company Sanofi Pasteur, has cleared phase three trials in Asia and Latin America, where the dengue virus is endemic.
